Therapy

Supporting clients to take meaningful steps toward insight, growth, and change.

People seek therapy for many reasons. In my practice, this often includes work with depression and anxiety, shame and self-esteem difficulties, grief and loss, relationship concerns, attachment-based trauma, and longstanding personality patterns that affect a person’s sense of self and their relationships.

Therapeutic work focuses on strengthening self-understanding and personal responsibility, and on uncovering new possibilities for living with greater freedom and purpose.

Therapy is typically conducted weekly and is often mid to long-term, depending on the needs of the individual.  Medicare and health fund rebates apply.

Next Step

If you are considering taking a next step in seeking therapy, you are welcome to make contact.

Some people choose to start with a single meeting — a quiet space to speak, reflect, and experience firsthand how it feels to be there. An initial session will give you a chance to experience the way I work and to consider whether this approach is a good fit for you.

There is no requirement to prepare, and no expectation to know where to begin. From this point, any next steps are decided together, without pressure or obligation.
