I support supervisees to build on their existing clinical knowledge and skills, expand their capacity for reflective practice, and consolidate their role and identity as helping professionals. For a fuller understanding of my supervision style, see the leaflet Supervision Philosophy.
I work with supervisees at all stages of professional development, from psychotherapy trainees and early-career practitioners through to senior clinicians.
I have completed formal training in clinical supervision with Michael Carroll and hold an Advanced Certificate in Supervision from his training institute. I am also recognised as a PACFA Certified Supervisor.
I have been involved in training supervisors for close to twenty years. I am the Director of SupervisionWA, which offers a six-month advanced supervisor program for human services professionals wishing to develop their capacity to provide high-quality, reflective supervision. See the SupervisionWA website.
If you are considering taking a next step in seeking supervision, you are welcome to make contact.
Some supervisees choose to start with a one-off supervision meeting. This will give you a chance to experience how I work as a supervisor and to consider whether my approach is a good fit for you.
It is important to bring reflections on your supervisory needs to your initial supervision session, as well as any questions you have about the supervisory process.
Any next steps are decided together, without pressure or obligation.
